In undertaking a case, I am aware that I may be called as an expert witness to the High Court. While the majority of cases that I am involved in are settled prior to the court date, I have on occasion attended the High Court as an expert witness. More typically my involvement in relation to settlement can include:

  • Phone consultation prior to settlement talks.
  • Attending case conferences (in person or remotely)
  • Reviewing and providing an opinion regarding the expert report from the other side 
  • Preparing a joint expert statement
